    Why VCCU?
Ventura County Credit Union started in 1950. With just a few employees and one volunteer with a cash drawer, we began helping members with their financial goals. Back then our philosophy was simple: people helping people. This philosophy is no different today and we continue to strive to help members meet their financial goals every day. Locations throughout Ventura County: Ventura, Oxnard, Riverpark, Point Heuneme, Camarillo, Moorpark, Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks. You will see once you become a member with us, our philosophy of people helping people is still embraced to this day. We are not-for-profit unlike large national banks. Many people join credit unions due to better service, lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits, lower fees, as well as online bill payment, mobile and home banking.
