June is National Aquarium Month, and the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library are raising funds to support the amazing 3600-gallon saltwater aquarium inside the Grant R. Brimhall Library. Since the aquarium was purchased by the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library and installed in 2006, this aquarium has been the most popular continuing exhibit in the Library.

To keep the aquarium happy on the inside, professional aquarists work regularly to ensure water temperature, quality, oxygen levels, and cleanliness remain in balance to create the perfect ecosystem for the 13 breeds of fish in the aquarium. The Friends support this work by raising $10,000 annually for the aquarium maintenance. To support the effort and learn more, visit https://ftol.org/donations/
