Job Title: Retail Associate / Barista (Part-Time)
Location: Le Macaron French Pastries – Janss Marketplace, Thousand Oaks
Hours: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week (evening and weekend availability preferred)

Le Macaron French Pastries brings a taste of Paris to our community with authentic French macarons, gourmet chocolates, gelato, specialty coffees, and fine pastries. We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused team members who enjoy working in a welcoming, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service

Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, gelato, and other menu items

Package and present macarons, pastries, and gift boxes with care

Operate the POS system (Clover) for sales transactions

Maintain cleanliness of the store, including counters, tables, display cases and restroom

Assist with restocking, inventory, and light opening/closing duties

Support catering and special event orders when needed
Qualifications
-
Previous retail, café, or food service experience preferred but not required (we provide training)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling light lifting (up to 25 lbs)

Availability for weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed
