Mayor Kevin McNamee brings over 35 years of business experience to our local businesses' challenges. Having navigated many of the obstacles business owners face today, he approaches policy decisions and advocacy with the best interest of entrepreneurs and companies in mind. His private practice as an acupuncturist and chiropractor allows him to hear concerns directly from the community. Through his volunteer work at the Westminster Free Clinic, Dr. McNamee provides clinical care to the underserved, where they share their personal journey and their steps to a better life. As an instructor at Ventura College, Mayor McNamee teaches students the science of water and wastewater treatment. His graduates go on to work in treatment plants around the country. Mayor McNamee is a retired reserve police officer with the LAPD where he still volunteers. He and his wife been part of the City of Thousand Oaks community for over 26 years.
