Dr. Mark McLaughlin

Conejo Valley Unified School District
Dr. Mark McLaughlin, Superintendent of Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) since 2017, has led the district through numerous challenges while spearheading initiatives to enhance student well-being and academic excellence. His tenure highlights include the establishment of Wellness Rooms for mental health support and the launch of innovative programs like the Conejo Valley's first Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program. With a focus on equity, he developed a Strategic Arts Education Plan and ensures exceptional educational experiences from preschool to post-secondary levels. Previously serving as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for CVUSD and in various roles at Fontana Unified School District, Dr. McLaughlin holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Masters in Education with an Emphasis in School Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. He is also a dedicated husband and father of three.

About the Education Council:
Meetings include a presentation by featured speakers in the areas of Education, Job Training, Human Resources, Community Programs, and updates from our local partners. The Education Council coordinates interaction between businesses, local school districts, private schools and universities.
This council also leads our Teacher of the Month Program where we honor educational excellence by rewarding teachers with a plaque in their name and gifts from Chamber Members. This is an opportunity for Chamber Members (you) to acknowledge our educators while also giving a brief description of your organization!
