Recruiting Board Members - Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library
The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library are seeking board members to serve as Members – At – Large on its very active Board. The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library is a non-profit organization established in 1967 that enjoys a close working relationship with the Library and City. The organization exists to increase awareness of and raise funds for the Thousand Oaks Library System. The funds raised by the Friends are used by the library to enhance their well-planned programs and services, purchase technology and equipment and expand collections of materials used by people of all ages. New terms of office begin in June 2021 with flexible opportunities in strategic planning, marketing, board development, fund-raising, event planning, donor cultivation and much more.
