The Parkinson’s Foundation focuses on improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and their families. Our mission is to empower and serve people with PD through expert care, education, advocacy, and research that is patient and community-centered-- meaning people with Parkinson’s always have a seat at the table.

Moving Day- a Walk to Fight PD” Moving Day on April 17, 2021, is an inspiring and empowering annual fundraising walk event that unites people around the country living with Parkinson’s disease (PD), their care partners, and loved ones to help beat PD. Moving Day is more than just a walk. It’s a celebration of movement. Although a lot has changed in the past several months, one thing remains the same: our commitment to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s.

Our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and staff's safety is the Parkinson’s Foundation's top priority, which is why we are altering the tradition from a community walk to a one-time-only, socially distanced Moving Day Drive-Thru Celebration. Participants attending this one-of-a-kind, fun, and family-friendly event will be invited to decorate their cars and drive through the event venue.

Can’t make it to the drive-thru celebration? You can join us online at Virtual Moving Day instead - a NEW engaging, informative, and interactive digital experience that will allow your organization to participate in everything our participants love about Moving Day. We know everyone has unique concerns and needs.

So we invite you to help us beat Parkinson’s in whichever way makes you feel comfortable and most safe.
