Agoura, CA– Over the last four decades, HOPE Connection, Inc (HOPE) has been honored to serve
thousands of people throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding communities. Their groups are
currently offered in Los Angeles, Encino, Agoura and the Thousand Oaks areas. HOPE Connection
has continued to provide a safe place, with the guidance of licensed therapists, for individuals to
grieve, heal and continue a redefined life after loss. The therapist-led groups are available to people
of all ages, but the majority of the members are between the ages of 20 to 90 years old. Many
grievers cannot afford the weekly fees so HOPE Connection offers a sliding scale fee that fits their
individual needs and welcomes them to attend. HOPE turns no one away because of financial
limitations even if they can afford nothing. “We are so honored and blessed to be doing this sacred
work for over 40 years! We feel so much gratitude for the support of so many who have seen us
through the good times and the challenging times,” said Jo Christner, Psy.D., Executive Director. “We
hope to have 40 more years of helping grievers from the darkness of their grief to the light of a
changed life.”
Hope Connection sponsors social and educational events throughout the year for new members
and alumni, creating opportunities for grievers to meet, interact and connect with the HOPE
community. By creating a variety of social environments, we can continue to support one another
during the healing process, and beyond. For more information about Hope Connection and tickets
