Canoga Park, CA – August 24, 2025 – For the sisters of Delta Zeta at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), the start of a new school year brought a fresh beginning — thanks to the generosity of a local business.
College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving – Thousand Oaks donated its time and services to complete a free junk removal clean-out, helping the sorority clear years of accumulated furniture and clutter. For students already balancing tuition, rising living costs, and the challenges of college life, the gift of a stress-free clean-out meant more than just extra space — it meant support.
“My sorority Delta Zeta is extremely thankful for the hardworking men at College Hunks!” said the sorority’s Vice President of Programs. “As a chapter of over 20 years we have collected our fair share of items and decided that coming into the new year we needed to rid of some of our items. Thankfully, College Hunks was able to help us.”
For General Manager Damian “DJ” Robinson, this was about more than hauling away furniture. “We know students are under incredible pressure right now,” Robinson said. “Helping them start fresh, without the financial burden of a big clean-out, is one small way we can give back. Being a good business means being a good neighbor.”
College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving serves Northridge, Canoga Park, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Chatsworth, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village, offering junk removal, donation pickups, moving, and general labor services. Beyond business, the company partners with organizations like Goodwill, Salvation Army, and Habitat for Humanity to ensure reusable items are donated and communities benefit.
This project at CSUN reflects the company’s larger mission: to provide stress-free services while showing that compassion and community go hand-in-hand with business.
