WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA— Registration is open for BumbleBee Foundation’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Sunset Hills Country Club in Thousand Oaks. BumbleBee Foundation (BBF) supports pediatric cancer families throughout Southern California and parts of Idaho. The annual golf tournament is the foundation’s largest fundraising event. Proceeds from the event make it possible for BBF to provide hope to countless families – and give children their childhood back.
 
The BumbleBee Foundation was established in memory of Jarren Donatini, who passed away from a rare form of liver cancer at just four years old. During his eighteen-month battle with cancer, the Donatini family was overwhelmed with the enormous costs and the emotional toll associated with caring for a pediatric cancer patient. The families and community that rallied around them during this trying time inspired Heather and her husband, Jason, to start an organization offering the same love and support to families facing similar challenges.
 
BumbleBee Foundation’s Executive Board member Christopher Dukes stated, "I had a blast at last year's tournament! It was a great day of spirited competition, community, and plenty of food and drinks. Meeting the BBF kiddos really brought home what the event was all about. My foursome was incredibly moved when we met Autumn on hole 8."

Golf registration will begin at 8:30 AM PDT. Dinner and awards presentation will follow
