The St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School has been providing a quality education to students in the Conejo Valley for five decades. In celebration of the school's fiftieth anniversary, a variety of activities have been planned over the next two years to celebrate this important milestone. Alumni, past parents, faculty, and friends are being contacted in order to invite them to our big Anniversary Gala in March, 2013.
The St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School began as an outreach of the St. Patrick's Episcopal Church. Parishioners were interested in starting a kindergarten for their children and opened the school with eight students in September 1963. The second year two additional grades were added. Gradually other grades were added until all the elementary levels, kindergarten through sixth grade, were achieved in 1973. A few of the founders who were pivotal in the early growth and development of the school are still around today and will be joining us for the many celebratory events.
Known for its strong academic preparation and its nurturing environment, this private school is accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and the California Association of Independent Schools. St. Patrick's School offers one of the best elementary school experiences in the Conejo Valley. Our graduates are well prepared for the next step in their education.
