DESCRIPTION:Legislative Roundtable provides a setting for dialogue to take place on public policy issues and gives public agency staff\, elected officials\, their staff and businesses an opportunity to network. The meeting includes a guest speaker on a public sector topic and regular updates from our local cities\, agencies\, and elected officials.\n\n\n\nStaff members provide brief reports from their prospective agencies to inform each other and members of the chamber of upcoming events or other items of interest.\n\n\n\nThis Month's Speaker:\n\n\n\nAmy K. Commans\n\nVice President\, Community\, Employer & Government Relations\n\nLos Robles Health System\n\nTopic: New Los Robles Medical Residency Program\n\n\n\nAmy Commans has been member of the Conejo Valley for over four decades. As a proud and diverse community leader\, Amy has dedicated herself to a career in hospitality spanning over 30 years. Commans served as the General Manager of the Westlake Village Inn for over 23 years and followed as General Manager with Luxe Hotels in Los Angeles before joining the Los Robles Hospital team in 2016.\n\n\n\nCommans was awarded "Manager of the Year "by the San Fernando Business Journal\, "Woman of the Year" by the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber and most recently awarded the "North Star Award"\, the National Court of Honor for volunteers who have made a significant contribution to Scouting.
