Event Description:
The Education & Workforce Development Committee works to improve the future quality of your workforce by hosting many quality educational programs through local partnerships.  Meetings include a presentation by featured speakers in the areas of Education, Job Training, Human Resources and Community Programs.

The Committee coordinates interaction between businesses and the local school district, Conejo Valley Unified School District, and partners with private schools and colleges in the Conejo Valley area. The committee also encourages educational excellence by rewarding teachers and students with monthly awards and yearly scholarships.

This Month's Speaker: Dr Eric Bergmann
Originally from the bay area, Dr. Bergmann has spent 27 years working in public schools in three different states.  Prior to his appointment as the principal of Thousand Oaks High School in January of 2018, he spent 9 years as a history teacher and baseball coach, 8 years as an assistant principal and is in 10th year in the role of principal.  He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Utah and a Doctorate from the University of Oregon.
